SME Server & Phone System / PBX

Phone systems traditionally cost a lot - a lot to buy, a lot to support and a lot when you need to add that next extension. To resolve this flamegreen have developed a full intranet and phone system, with an acceptable price tag, for small to medium business.

Before we explain the ins and outs of it - a bit more background is sensible. We decided to build a pbx server, but realised that it could be used for much more, file servers, firewalls, etc, so that's what we did, the result is a scalable system with the following base features:

• Phone System
• File Server
• Internet Proxy & Real time virus / malware scanner
• Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• Corporate firewall

All features above are fully managed via a web interface and can be integrated seamlessly into the flamegreen intranet. The costs will vary depending on hardware options required but are guaranteed to offer massive savings over traditional pbx systems.

By linking (via VPN) a couple of SME Server & PBX systems, calls can be routed between branch offices, permanent distributed private networks produced and your own internal off-site backups can all be achieved - at no extra cost!
